Core VR Limited – Terms and Conditions – April 2023
Cancellations, refunds and returns
You have up to two weeks before your booking date to cancel or re-schedule you’re booking. Cancelled bookings will be credited to the purchasers account, credits must be used within 6 months.
We do not issue refunds for any cancellations or for any vouchers brought.
Due to strict time constraints, we do not issue refunds for those who arrive late.
To re-schedule your booking or if you have any issues with your booking, please contact support@corevr.co.uk so we can resolve any problems you have. A refund may apply at the discretion of Core VR Limited.
Arrival time
We run back-to-back sessions, so you must arrive on time. We do not accept late arrivals. We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early to ensure the set-up process is carried out effectively to maximise your game play time.
If you are part of a split session (with other random players) and do not arrive on time and the set-up process has started, we cannot allow you to join the game.
If you’re in a session with all your friends and someone doesn’t arrive on time, you can wait for them to arrive, and the game play time will be cut short. Alternatively, you can proceed with the setup of the game without them and if they do not arrive before the setup process has finished, they cannot join the game.
Safety
You must read and accept our waiver when booking.
Our safety rules will be discussed during set-up. Anyone found breaking the safety rules will be removed from the game and you will not get a refund.
Core VR Limited staff members are not responsible for the safety or care of unattended children. If there’s no one to supervise your child, you will not be able allowed to enter the game and you will not get a refund.
Rules
You must never run during game play and must be able to walk around with full use of both hands. You must never cross the in-game boundaries, failure to comply you will be removed from the game and you will not get a refund.
Glasses cannot be used; we recommend wearing contact lenses during game play. You will be charged for any equipment that you damage. Players must be thirteen or older to play.
Motion sickness is a side effect associated with virtual reality games; this depends on the individual. If you’re experiencing motion sickness during game play, to prevent it getting worse you cannot continue playing and we will be unable to issue a refund.
Players acting violent to other customers, staff or under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to play and you will not get a refund.
You cannot play with the following impairment or medical conditions:
- if you suffer from a heart condition or have high blood pressure.
- If you suffer from seizures, epilepsy, vertigo, agoraphobia, or any similar disorders.
- If you have any broken bones or are missing limbs.
- If you are in a wheelchair.
- If you are deaf or have severe hearing loss.
- If you are pregnant.
Disclaimer
Core VR Limited have tried to ensure that all appropriate safety precautions are taken, that any equipment used is in safe working condition and that adequate insurance arrangements are in place. Nevertheless, like all exhilarating activities, any game may be unsafe if equipment is not used properly and/or instructions are not followed.
The directors or employees of Core VR Limited are not liable or responsible for any injury/death caused and any games that are played are at the customer’s own risk. Virtual Reality is a very immersive experience and can affect everyone differently. Please read the following disclaimer.
By using our services, you accept to the following terms of use:
- I will use any equipment given to me safely, not run and follow all instructions given to me.
- I accept that participation in any game is entirely at my own risk. Virtual reality is not suitable for everyone, and I agree not to participate, or to stop participating, if I have doubts or concerns about my suitability for any game (for example, if I suffer loss of awareness, discomfort, eye strain, visual abnormalities, headache, impaired balance, disorientation, or motion sickness).
- I acknowledge that virtual reality is not suitable for those who are pregnant, have high blood pressure, suffer from motion sickness, heart conditions, seizures, epilepsy, vertigo, agoraphobia, or any similar disorders. I do not suffer from any medical conditions which make my participation in any game unsuitable, inadvisable, or dangerous. I will make known to you any relevant conditions, prior to taking part.
- I know that objects I will see in the virtual world do not exist in the real world. I won’t try to sit or stand on those objects.
- I acknowledge that failure to abide by these terms and to exercise common sense may result in physical injury to me or others.
- I waive all claims, and hold Core VR Limited harmless, in respect of personal injury or death that I suffer or cause to others as a result of failing to comply with these terms or that arise out of or relate to my use or misuse of any games played. This does not apply to personal injury or death suffered as a result of the negligent acts or omissions of Cover VR Limited.
- I am not under the influence or suffering from the effects of using drugs or alcohol.
- I understand that the Core VR Limited cannot guarantee that the content within any game will be uninterrupted or error free and that I will not be issued any refunds.
- I accept that if I damage any equipment on purpose, I will pay a for any insurance excess, repairs, or replacements.
- I accept my details may be used in marketing materials relating to any games played.
- I consent to images and videos being taken for security or promotional purposes.
- I acknowledge that to use the services of Core VR Limited I must be 10 or above and that if a person playing is less than 14 years of age, a parent or guardian must be present, due to the content of the games. If a person is aged 14-17 years, they do not require parental or guardian supervision, but they must still have a signed waiver from parent or guardian to use the facilities.
Vouchers
Vouchers are redeemed via our website https://www.corevr.co.uk and are emailed to the purchaser or can be emailed to the recipient, they can be used electronically, or they can be printed. The voucher is for a limited time only and is confirmed via email after purchase and the date cannot be extended past its expiry date. Vouchers can only be used once, they cannot be refunded, replaced (if lost or stolen), traded for cash and they cannot be used if the printed voucher is damaged. Each voucher has a has its own unique code and can be transferred to another individual until the voucher has been redeemed or has expired. Any outstanding balance will be retained on the vouchers unique code until it has been redeemed or has expired. Vouchers are subject to standard session rates and discounts do not apply.
Discounts and promotion codes
Discounts are applied during the booking process, only for the selected games which are advertising a discount. Promotion codes can only be used once and only via the website https://www.corevr.co.uk you must apply the promotion code prior to completing your booking. Promotion codes are for a limited time only and cannot be used past its expiry date, they cannot be combined with discounts or any other offers. Promotion codes cannot be transferred to another individual or traded for cash. If you cancel a booking with a promotion code or violate any of the Terms and Conditions, you will not get a refund and you will lose your promotion code. Discounts and promotion codes can be changed by Core VR Limited any time, without warning.
