1. Promoter
The competition is promoted by Core VR Limited, St Peter Churchyard, Derby DE1 1NN (“the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility
• Open to UK residents aged 16 years or over.
• Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
• Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible.

3. Competition Period
The competition runs from 2nd February 2026 to 2nd April 2026, inclusive.
Entries outside this period will not be counted.

4. Entry Requirements
• Entry is via participation in a paid VR Free Roam session at full standard price £29.95
• Teams must consist of a minimum of four (4) players.
• Sessions must take place on weekdays only (Monday–Friday, excluding bank holidays unless otherwise stated).
• Discounted, complimentary, or promotional sessions are not eligible.
• Only scores achieved in the Free Roam: Corpus Apocalypse game will be valid.
Participation in the competition is incidental to the VR experience and does not constitute a separate paid entry fee.

5. Nature of the Competition
This is a skill-based competition.
The outcome is determined by player skill, reaction time, coordination, and tactical decision-making.
No random or chance-based mechanics determine the winner.

6. Scoring & Leaderboard
• Each team may enter multiple times during the competition period.
• The highest-scoring individual player from each qualifying team session will be recorded.
• Scores are logged on an official leaderboard maintained by the Promoter.
• The leaderboard will be updated regularly and displayed in-venue and/or online.

7. Winner Selection
• The participant with the highest recorded individual score at the end of the competition period will be declared the winner.
• In the event of a tie, the tied players may be invited to a play-off session or ranked by secondary in-game performance metrics at the Promoter’s discretion.

8. Prizes
• First Prize: One (1) Pico 4 Ultra VR headset.
• Runner-Up Prizes: Core VR polo shirts and headphones.
• Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
• The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

9. Winner Notification
• Winners will be contacted within 7 days of the competition end date using the contact details provided at booking.
• If a winner does not respond within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next highest scorer.

10. Health & Safety
• All participants must follow venue safety rules and staff instructions.
• The Promoter reserves the right to refuse participation or disqualify any player for unsafe, disruptive, or unsporting behaviour.

11. Disqualification
The Promoter may disqualify any participant if:
• False information is provided
• These rules are breached
• Cheating, tampering, or score manipulation is suspected

12. Data Protection
• Personal data will be used solely to administer the competition in accordance with UK GDPR.
• By entering, participants consent to their name or username appearing on the leaderboard and in winner announcements.
• Participants may request access to or deletion of their personal data by contacting the Promoter.

13. Publicity
By entering, winners agree to reasonable use of their name, image, and score for promotional purposes unless they request otherwise in writing.

14. Liability
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:
• Technical issues beyond its control
• Loss, damage, or injury except where caused by its negligence

15. General
• The Promoter’s decision is final.
• These terms are governed by English law, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
