Join Our Team as a Games Master

Position: Games Master
As a Games Master at Core VR, you will be the heart and soul of our venue, creating magical moments for our customers and ensuring they have an unforgettable time. You will be responsible for operating the games, guiding players through their VR journey, and keeping the venue organized and clean. Your enthusiasm for VR gaming will be infectious, getting people excited to play, and setting up the equipment for an optimal experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operating the VR games, overseeing gameplay, and providing player support for an enjoyable experience.
- Provide exceptional support and guidance to players, ensuring they have an enjoyable VR experience and a memorable time throughout their visit.
- Set up and calibrate VR equipment, ensuring everything is in perfect working order for the next group of players.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the VR venue to create a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage bookings and ensure a smooth check-in process for customers.
- Assist in promoting the venue, helping to attract new customers and grow our VR community.
- Collaborate with the team to create new and exciting VR experiences for our guests.
- Opening and closing the store, handling payments.
- Welcoming and signing in groups of players warmly.
- Conducting safety briefings and monitoring game sessions.
- Conducting debriefs, celebrating player achievements.
- Maintaining and cleaning VR equipment after each use.
- Collaborating with management for new equipment orders.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Customer-facing experience with exceptional verbal communication skills.
- Amazing customer service abilities, delivering memorable experiences.
- Digital savvy, adept at leveraging social media effectively.
- Excellent time management and adaptability to respond quickly to customer needs.
- Demonstrated self-control and positivity in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Sharp eye for identifying errors and inconsistencies in information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Ability to work varied shifts, mainly on weekends.
Preferred experience for this role includes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and excite customers.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus but not required
- Technology and social media proficiency.
- Flexibility and the ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- A passion for VR gaming and a good understanding of virtual reality technology.
